Gallery Artist Rachel Romano has received further attention for her brilliant narrative paintings via a glowing and insightful review by Heidi Ackey in Painters TUBES magazine. Congratulations to Rachel Romano for making the cover of Painters TUBES!

Rachel will be showing these two featured works in addition to many others in her 2024 exhibition at Stanek Gallery.

In the article Ackey writes:

"Romano's piece Masquerading in Innocence" is another in which I find particular interest. There is a running theme in her work of a figure, like in this piece and in New American Gothic, looking directly toward the viewer. This creates the strong feeling that there is something to be told, harking back to Rachel's description of herself as a 'storyteller."
