Left to right: James Brantley, Ursula, 2020. Acrylic on canvas, 36 x 24 inches; Treacy Ziegler, Like birds that get used to walking, ca. 2020. Oil and gold leaf composite on panel, 18 x 13.5 inches; Kathy Loev Putnam, Crazy Hat Dress Up, 2018. Oil, screen print, and mixed media collage on wood panel, 48 x 36 inches.

Exciting new works by James Brantley offer bold and bright compositions depicting inviting spaces populated by a host of characters. Brantley's paintings explore themes of community, intimacy, and the rhythm of human interaction.

The vibrant works of mixed media artist Kathy Loev Putnam feature whimsical figures composed of painted surfaces, found materials, and objects of personal significance. Referencing current events and life experiences, Loev Putnam creates a profound and intimate inner world in her works.

Deeply contemplative and surreal are the cast paper sculptures and "Icon Paintings" of Treacy Ziegler. Ziegler's images of animals are imbued with hidden narratives and possess a unique gravity and singularity.
